The first time I remember hearing Antony Hegarty of Antony & The Johnsons was back in 2000 when he had a small cameo in the independent film "Animal Factory." While I don't remember much about the movie I don't think I'll ever forget the brief but memorable cameo in which Antony performs a version of "Rapture", a song from his 2000 self-titled album. Since then I've been hooked on his somewhat haunting vocals. I particularly enjoyed his involvement with Hercules & Love Affair in 2008 and am really looking forward to the forthcoming album from Antony & The Johnsons entitled "Another World".mp3:
