The Comedy, A Clip?

This is most certainly going to be a really good movie... I bet your life on it.

Wilco & Popeye "Dawned On Me"

This is certainly the best thing you have seen in a really long time. It's also the best thing you are going to see for a long time... Now eat your spinach!

Red Hot Chili Peppers "Look Around"

RHCP are a super huge band that probably don't appear to be very cool compared to bands like Girls or Beirut, or even something newer and even more obscure like Chocolate Robots. But I still think they are awesome... so you can suck it.  And I won't say ANYTHING if I see you at their show in September... I promise!

High Drags "Young Kids" (feat. Cing James)

In my experience as a music website quipper, there is nothing better than getting something actually good in the old email inbox. It probably happens more than I even know, but we get so so so many emails everyday and since prison rules are pretty strict (as you can imagine) we don't always get a chance to get to them all. But fortunately for all parties involved, I did read/listen/love to High Drags communication email and they are very good. But don't take my word for it (the jury certainly didn't) have a listen for yourself below.

Cloud Nothings "No Future/No Past"

Cloud Nothings' new album Attack on Memory is really the first album this year that I'm actually excited to listen to. You can grab it tomorrow when it is released. You can also see Cloud Nothings on February 28th at Crescent Ballroom.

Update: I guess you have to watch this one at Vimeo's website for now. It's worth the extra click.

Schoolboy Q feat. A$AP Rocky "Hands on the Wheel"

This track from L.A. rapper Schoolboy Q has been making the rounds on most music blogs over the past few days. For good reason, too, the song is pretty amazing. "Hands on the Wheel" comes off Schoolboy Q's album Habits and Contradictions which is available now.
