I don't know why I am so dang sleepy. I just want to curl up in a nice hollowed out log right on the edge of a beautiful meadow and take a tiny little nap, just until sunset obviously. Sunset is when I plan on getting a lake side campfire going and reflect on my station in life, until it's time to catch fire flies.

Follow Washed Out On Tour... Virtually

This video is pretty much just Washed Out on tour. It looks pretty cool I guess. But what it doesn't relay is how hard it is. They pretend that it's all just swimming in rivers and dance parties. It's mostly driving around smelling like old yak balls in a van that smells like old yak balls. But swimming in rivers and dance parties makes it all worth it in the end, right?

YACHT & Washed Out @ The Black Forrest Mill 3/24/2010

The huge YACHT/Bobby Birdman/Washed Out/Small Black/PICTUREPLANE/Jared Alan show last nigh lived up to "huge". The place was just packed to the brim. Now The Black Forest Mill is a great venue, it's big, they have a great bar with great beer, etc... etc... etc... there were only two things missing. A smoking/drinking patio and more lights. I got zero pictures. So I took this shitty looking video of "Psychic City" in a feeble attempt to give you a glimpse of the goings on last night. As you can see it was pretty effing dark other than those giant glow sticks... but the sound came out pretty good.

Tonight In Phoenix: YACHT. Washed Out, Bobby Birdman, PICTUREPLANE, Small Black & Jared Alan

Well if you don't know who YACHT is then you suck. Fortunately you can remedy that with the simple task of watching the above video. Oh and guess what fucking Washed Out is also going to be there. Oh and Bobby Birdman, PICTUREPLANE, Small Black and non other than our own Jared ALAN.

Surfer Blood Coming To Phoenix (Trunk Space)

This is very exciting news day for me. First I learn that YACHT and Washed Out are coming to town, together no less... THEN I learn that my hands down favorite of the year so far Surfer Blood are coming back to town on March 24th... Wha wha wha Wait a minute! That's the same day as YACHT and Washed Out!!!! ARRRRRRRGH!!!! What the hell am I going to do now? I guess I have a little under 2 months to perfect cloning. I bet I will get all carried away just like Michael Keaton in Multiplicity... "I like pizza"

YACHT & Washed Out Coming To Tempe March 24th

This is kinda a big deal! Just heard through the twittervine that YACHT and Washed Out are playing The Black Forrest Mill in Tempe on March 24th. You need to be there or be square, that is all I can say. I have a feeling this is going to be pretty epic so missing it would be worse than the time that you rounded up all of those cats and put them in the old broken fridge in your grandparents shed... You guys are sick yo!

I didn't do any research at all so Blake Salzman could be the one getting ripped off OR he could even be the editor on Tim & Eric Awesome Show for all I know. But one thing I DO know is that I will not be putting any effort into finding out. But that being said it's still a great song and video combo... Good day.
