New Music Tuesday: Lily Allen, The Lonely Island

Unfortunately, it's another unremarkable week for new releases.

At the top of my shopping list this week is the debut album from The Lonely Island, Incredibad. The CD/DVD combo will have 20 original tracks from the comedy trio and will include a DVD of some of their most popular digital shorts. Personally, I've been of the opinion that the SNL Digital Shorts, written by The Lonely Island, have been the funniest parts of Saturday Night Live for the past few years. But like most comedic music teams - Tenacious D, Flight of the Choncords - not only can they make you laugh but they actually make som pretty good music while they do it. As they should considering The Lonely Island have no shortage of musical talent guesting on some of their tracks and feature Justin Timberlake, Julian Casablancas, and my favorite Natalie Portman.

Also available this week is LilyAllen's It's Not Me, It's You, the follow up to her successful debut Alright, Still. I'm a big fan of Lily Allen and I'm not afraid to admit.

That's it for this week.
