New Music Tuesday: M. Ward, Alela Diane, Morrissey

After a couple of slow weeks there are a handful of strong new releases this week.

We've been talking about it for weeks now but the new charity compilation album Dark Was The Night is finally availble. Sales from this album will benefit the Red Hot Orginization, an international charity dedicated to raising to raising money and awareness for HIV and AIDS through popular culture. The charity compilation features 31 exclusive tracks from an all-star lineup of indie musicians including Bon Iver, Sufjan Stevens, Grizzly Bear, The Decemberists and many many others.

Other new releases this week include Alela Diane's new album To Be Still, Morrissey's Years of Refusal. Another album I am very much looking forward to this week is the new double EP from Beirut March of the Zapotec & Realpeople: Holland.

Also available this week is the new album from M. Ward entitled Hold Time.

That's it for this week. Did I forget anything?
