It's Tuesday and that means new music.I have got to say that this has got to be my favorite week for new releases so far this year. Even though there aren't a ton of big name releases there are a ton of solid new releases from the likes of Bat For Lashes, Richard Swift, Michachu, Crystal Antlers and more. If there is one week to head to the record store and pick up some great new music then this is definitely the week to do it.
Of all the new releases that are available this week we highly recommend you check out the debut album from Micachu. This is a low-fi, garage punk masterpiece of an album. I guarantee you'll be hearing a lot from Micachu this year.
Also, available this week is a DVD from Arcade Fire entitled Miroir Noir. The film follows Arcade Fire the making and touring of their 2007 classic Neon Bible.
