Black Lips - "Arboles de la Barranca"(MP3)


I've been sitting on this track for a few days now. I felt that it would be better to wait and post it on Cinco de Mayo. You know, since the song is in Spanish and all.

A number of indie artists, including Black Lips, Devendra Banhart, and Juana Molina have contributed covers of some traditional Mexican standards for the soundtrack to the upcoming film Rudo y Cursi. The film is about two brothers played by Diego Luna and Gael Garcia Bernal who play soccer for the local village team and are recruited to play soccer for rival teams in the big city.
