NEW MUSIC TUESDAY: The Dodos, Or, the Whale, Kid Cudi

After last weeks barrage of good shit it's hard for a week to follow up but I think this week did a pretty good jorb! Porcupine Tree has been around a long time and they have always put out excellent stuff so I cant imagine that The Incident is going to disappoint. UPDATE...Apparently it CAN, because it's not very good...at all.

You know what has a really good chance of disappointing your ears? That Pete Yorn Scarlett Johansson thing that came out today... watch out now!

The Dodos - Time To Die
Or, the Whale - Or, the Whale
Muse - The Resistance
Porcupine Tree - The Incident NOT GOOD AT ALL
A Sunny Day In Glasgow - Ashes Grammar
Lovelikefire - Tear Ourselves Away (Import)
The Grates - Teeth Lost, Hearts Won
Kid Cudi - Man on the Moon
Cougar - Patriot
Pete Yorn & Scarlett Johansson - Break Up
Mason Jenninngs - Blood Of Man
Q-Tip - Kamaal the Abstract
Fink - Sort of Revolution
Protest The Hero - Gallop Meets The Earth

What a pathetic review...."not very good at all"?? If you're going to offer such a none descript comment at least back it up with some evidence. This reviewer obviously has no idea about how to put two words together, and obviously enjoys being Robinson Crusoe, as this is the only review I've seen through google alerts that offers anything but accolades for such a daring and inspiring piece of music.

Well first of all it's more of a warning than a review. And second of all "it's not very good...at all" is SIX words all together, plus "it's" is an abbreviated version of "it is" so you could almost say IT'S SEVEN words "strung together".
I am OK with you having your own opinion, or should I say I am OK with you agreeing with everybody else you found via your google alerts but please don't insult my ability to string at least 6.5 words together.

My comments were with regard to a seeming inability to back up ones comments with facts, which even a warning should contain, as in "Don't put your hand in that fire".....why? because it is hot, and maybe you'll get injured (facts).
No insult intended, but a very narrow view when my opinion is from solid understanding of what the artist is portraying....through pure listening.
Have a great day.
