Weekend Concert Calendar: Mars Volta, Kinch, What Laura Says

Kinch, whose new EP, Collars And Sleeves, just came out on Tuesday will be playing an EP release party tonight with What Laura Says, Loxsly, Poem, and Sisterbrother at the First Friday Roosevelt street stage.

Boys and Frogs play a free show at Firehouse.

Over at Yucca Tap Room you can catch another free show from Yellow Minute, What Laura Says, and Indias.

The first of several shows to showcase to celebrate the release of the When In AZ Compilation kicks off tonight at Modified Arts. Tonight's performances include Matthew Reveles, Stellaluna, and Flyaway Tigers.

The Mars Volta play a show at The Dodge Theatre on Saturday.

The second installment of shows highlighting the When In AZ Compilation takes place on Saturday at Modified Arts and features performances from Courtney Marie Andrews, Jonathan Sakas, Michelle Blades, Former Friends of Young Americans, Harcuvar, So and So, and Step Cousins.

Kinch play another free show on Saturday at Yucca Tap Room with Black Carl, Loxsly, and Hooves.

Earthmen and Strangers play a free show with Becky Lee Saturday at Rogue West.

Sunday you can catch Pictureplane, Hideous Man, Josephine And The Mousepeople, and Stephen Steinbrink at Modified Arts.
