This is some enchanting news I just got in my magical email box. The Miniature Tigers are coming back to Phoenix via The Rhythm Room on July 27th in support of their soon to be released album Fortress. For some reason or another we have not yet received an advance copy of Fortress so I can only say that if the first single "Gold Skull" is any indication then it will be a great album that both my family and I will cherish for months.
The Phx stop is part of a Nationwide tour including Lollapalooza, (full list of dates after the break) so it looks like the big time has finally arrived. Better get tickets early, this shit is going to sell out no doubt about it. If you get your tickets at Stinkweeds, Hoodlums or Zia Records you will get a coupon for a free 7" of the Miniature Tigers new single "Gold Skull" to be redeemed at The Rhythm Room show on 7/27. The 7" is extremely limited I am told.
Spinto Band, EM favorites Kinch and Owan Evans are the support, that is a pretty good show in it's own right.
