There aren't many concert announcements that make me jump for joy and do a little dance but this is definitely one of them. Pitchfork just posted tour dates for the Gorillaz upcoming North American tour and lucky for us the animated band will be playing Dodge Theater on October 26th.
When I saw that they were planning a North American tour I thought for sure there was no way they'd play Phoenix but I guess I can be wrong sometimes. I'm just curious how the tour will play out considering they have so many guest spots on their latest album Plastic Beach. I can't imagine the likes of Lou Reed and Snoop Dogg will be at every show on this tour. Personally, I thought that Snoop Dogg song kinda sucked so I'd just be happy if Lou Reed was at the show.
No word yet on when tickets go on sale but we'll keep you posted.
