SHAMELESS SELF PROMOTION ALERT!!!!

ElectricMustache is putting on it's first show ever tonight! Just that in and of itself is pretty exciting news for us. But the thing is, it's not ONLY a musical type show it's also opening night to my (Shawn / Electric Shots Photography) first gallery showing.

The wonderful and awesome proprietors of SuTRA Midtown Yoga have been crazy nice enough to invite me to show (and hopefully sell) some of the photos I have taken over the last couple of years working on this blog. So I thought since I take pictures of bands, why not have bands play? So that's exactly what we are doing. Because I am nothing if not logical.

Ergo Bears of Manitou, Matt Harris and Sorry Charlie have all been gracious enough to play some of their songs for us in an intimate acoustic setting, while people stare in awe of the photos (some of them are of them) I have hanging on the walls all around them whilst drinking free PBR's and sangria. It's so damn meta my mind grapes are hurt.

I can't think of a better way to spend a Friday night. You should come down, it's going to be totally rad AND boss! Oh and did I mention that the whole thing is totally free? As in no charge to you or anybody you bring. Well it's totally free,  and if you repeat this exact phrase to Matt... "Nectar Barsios sent me for the Smart Cans!" he will dedicate a song to you in honor of Independence Day. Or maybe he won't, but if you don't ask you will never know.
