If you are just sitting around the house staring at the dining room table, waiting impatiently for the Thanksgiving Wizard to deliver your fresh deep fried turkey and all the customary fixn's. Why not take a 3 minute break and watch this video? I will tell you why! It's because there IS NOT such a thing as the Thanksgiving Wizard! It was your mom making all that food the whole time! She would stay up all night on Thanksgiving Eve pulling giblets out of frozen turkey bodies and peeling potatoes till her hands bled (it doesn't take that long to peel potatoes she was just really bad and unsafe about it). And all YOU ever did was sit around and watch football. Now don't you feel like a jerk?

New Music Tuesday: Big Boi, What Laura Says, Baths, Rescues

Kind of a slow week. I guess it's because of Independence Day. You would think that Independance Day would be a big deal for Independent music but I guess not. What Laura Says are releasing Bloom Cheek for the 20th time in the last month. So if you don't already have that then I highly suggest you pick that up. Big Boi's Sir Lucious Left Foot... The Son of Chico Dusty is probably the most anticipated album this week. So maybe that will be good. I don't know though because I have not heard the whole thing yet but I bet it's real real good. I really wish that Outkast would get back together and make another album that isn't Idlewild. Big Boi is kinda my hero, if I could go into someones head "Being John Malkovich" style it would probably be his. He would at least be in the rotation with Tiger Woods (time machine caveat of course), Brad Pitt and Jesus.

I assume this is from his new album Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty that comes out on July 6th

Some people say that "Shine Blockas" is the song of the year, perhaphs even the best rap song of the last 10 years. I agree that it is very good but I think we all know that "Smell Yo Dick" is the best rap song EVER let alone the last 10 years.
