The last time Jeff Tweedy performed in Arizona, it was in Tucson and I missed it due to the fact my daughter had just been born. I was bummed to be missing one of my favorite bands (Girzzly Bear opened for them also!) but what could I do? Fortunately for me, Wilco front man Jeff Tweedy will be bringing his solo show to the Orpheum Theatre in Phoenix this December. Not quite as good as getting the whole band but I will definitely take it. Tickets for the show will go on sale Wednesday, November 25th. It very may well be *better* than the whole band's show in Tucson, which was way WAY too slow and even had a little too much Nels for me.

Tweedy's solo shows are always awesome and quite a bit different that Wilco shows...stoked I don't have to fly to LA to see him this time around!
