I get that bands have to come up with creative and interesting ways to get their fans to actually spend real live Canadian or American dollars but I wonder who in this unstable economy has $125 to spend on a an album? Even a Broken Social Scene album, EVEN if it DOES come with a free BSS fan club membership. I just pre-ordered the $20 2xLP because I am pretty excited for the album and $20 is a reasonable price for two plastic circles, digital download of the album AND a BSS fan club membership. That being said I bet they sell out all 1000 copies in like 2 days. If there is one thing we learned during the Olympics it's never underestimate the Canadians. Check out all of the other options like something called a CD or something HERE.
