Ariel Pink , Cat Massage & Idaho Beards + We Plan The Rest Of Your Year

I guess being the number 5 reason why bands don't come to Phoenix is going to get me a lot of shit. So it's a good thing I wrote this I guess.

This post is going to fulfill a couple of different goals I have set out for myself. The first one is to post this Ariel Pink video and tell you a little story about him. The second goal is to be "optimistic" about the awesome bands that are coming to Phoenix to even out my poo pooing "hatcheting" the ones that aren't the other day.

I heard a story from a dude that was told a story about one time hanging out with Ariel Pink. During the time that this dude was hanging out with Ariel Pink, Ariel Pink said he didn't like Phoenix. I don't know if this is true or anything so take it with many grains of salt. But that would explain why he is playing Tucson twice and Phoenix twice less than 2 times. I think his tune would change if he got to experience one of Mike's world famous deep tissue/hot rock/hot n' cold oil/ trigger point/hot carl massages. He really is a craftsman of pleasure and relaxation, just ask all the neighborhood cats, he learned from the best!

Hey, my fellow Idahoans Built to Spill opened for the Kings of Leon last week but I wasn't going to pay KoL real money just to see Built to Spill, but now I don't have to! They are coming to The Marquee on 10/26. So not only do we get to see them play a lot more we don't have to be outside in July OR see KoL... win win win. There are a shit ton of other shows that I am super excited for. I am going to make a highlight list below and feel free to post some that you are excited for in the comments. That is what they are there for.
