The debut album from UK trio Micachu & the Shapes ended up being a lot of people's favorite album of 2009. Mine especially. So I was pretty excited to see that the band would be releasing another record this March. It's a pretty interesting concept, with the group recording this latest effort with the London Sinfonietta live in London in May 2010.
Rough Trade posted the first track off the new record, called CHOPPED & SCREWED, on their website and made it available as a free download.
I'm not really loving the new song as much as I would have hopped I would but maybe it'll grow on me.
