New Music Alex Ebert, Middle Brother, Lykke Li, Devotchka, Middle Brother

Pretty good selection of new stuff today. We live in fortunate times, I guess. But really what is the point. What with the end of the world coming in the next couple of years. It feels like it's all just a huge waste of time. We should be really living it up just a whole lot harder, if you know what I mean. You know what I mean.

Saddle Creek Adds two New Bands to Label

The Rural Alberta Advantage (top) UUVVWWZ (bottom)

Our favorite label out of Omaha just announced that they have signed two new bands and those two bands are The Rural Alberta Advantage from Toronto via Alberta and UUVVWWZ from Lincoln NE. Check out the tracks below to see if they are something you can get behind. And by "get behind" I mean buying their albums that are both coming out on July 7th and NOT jumping on their backs and scratching their eyes out...that would just be rude and uncalled for.

mp3's

The Rural Alberta Advantage - "Don't Haunt This Place"

UUVVWWZ - "Shark Suit"
