Real Estate "Easy"

Real Estate - "Easy" from Tom Scharpling

This was sort of not all that funny for a video that was intended to be funny. They put funny people in the video and posted it on Funny of Die. If it was just the same video with only the members of Real Estate, and they posted it on their own Twitter my expectations would have been lower and probably would have better things to say.

Also... if you don't know how to read it's unlikely that you would be able to find a book in the library on how to read. If I was me I would have had him go up to the librarian and say "I don't know how to read" BEFORE he found the book, and then cut to a scene with the librarian teaching him how to read. I HATE plot holes man!

Real Estate "It's Real"

You guys remember when Real Estate came out? I do... that was like in 2009 or something. Time sure does fly when you are slowly dying of dysentery! But guess what? They have a new album coming out in Oct... so stay tuned for that!

Video: Real Estate "Suburban Dogs"

I really have no idea what the fuck is going on in this video. Where is this awesome xmas party going on at? Is this the P4K offices? Is this why they are so up on what hot? Because of their dedicated staff of really old people? Or are these the parents of the staff and they keep them around to remind them "Not to be a lazy bum and get back to work!"? I would really like an explanation please. Can I has some sausage and peppers? Hi Joe, I know... Real Estate Band IS great. I wonder if he said that because that’s literally what you have to search on google to find them… you can’t just search real estate dummy!

Tonight In Phoenix: Real Estate, Stephen Steinbrink, Young Friends & Really Big Birds @ Modified

Goddamn that is a lot of band name to type out for a title and I didn't even type out all of it. Well Real Estate is acquiring a shit ton of blogbuzz as of late to store away in their beach cave, and if you have listened to Sirius XMU for more than 5 minutes over the last 4 months you would know that "The guys in Real Estate went to high school with the Vivian Girls! Such a small world"  and I am getting sick of hearing about it DAMMIT! But I digress... I got it on good authority that Stephen Steinbrink and his Band are "really fucking good" and I can vouch for the goodness of The Young Friends. I have yet to be exposed (musically OR sexually) to Really Big Birds, but I can't imagine they would suck (musically OR sexually) with a name as retarded............ly awesome as that ;-) Tix are money and the show starts at time.

REAL ESTATE'S DEBUT ALBUM DETAILS

Personally since my house has dropped in value by about 200% since I bought it 3 years ago, real estate has NOT been my favorite thing. But Real Estate is doing a pretty good job of making me like the words "real estate" again, at least metaphorically.

I have only heard one song off their new self titled album (Beach Comber...listen below) and it has a nice "Spacey California" vibe (even through they are from New Jersey) that I have been getting into since Wavves earlier this year. Check out the track listing and some tour dates after the mp3 and break.
