She & Him... Something, Something Old Fashioned Sounding Song
It's funny that they are talking about the sound of tomorrow when this song just sounds like the same song as yesterday. You can always count on She & Him to be consistent though.

New Music Tuesday: She & Him, Bonnie "Prince" Billy, Bright Eyes, Let's Wrestle, Yukon Blonde
I guess that She & Him Vol 2 is the big release this week but I am honestly kind of sick of hearing Zooey's voice. She sings every goddamn thing EXACTLY the same no matter what the song sounds like. The singing on that fucking Cotton commercial sounds exactly like every song on both of their albums... WTF? Does she have a good voice? Sure she does. Does she seem a little slow? Sure she does. I bet Ben Gibbard just asked her if she like his "hairy knee" and she said yes and before he knew it they were married.
My two picks for the week are the Bonnie "Prince" Billie colab with The Cairo Gang and Let's Wrestle. I am sure there are some other gems in there like Drink Up Buttercup and Yukon Blonde so let's get to digging and see whats good... Pitchfork just posted a new mp3 from M. Ward and Zooey Deschanel or as their musical project is better know She & Him. The duo will release their second album, entitled Volume Two, on Merge Records on March 23rd.
