New Music Tuesday: Welcome To 2012 Edition

Oh hey... what up? Did you all have a wonderful winter season break? Mine was good but not all that relaxing. House hunting can be a real pain in the ass. Probably not as hard as real hunting, especially if you are using spears and success was your only chance of survival. But for a fat lazy American like me house hunting is hard.

Can't wait to get that new Lego Feet! Just so you know, the Pearl Jam doc is on Netflix to stream, just so you know. Oh and FINALLY the Johnny Cash greatest hits album we have all been waiting for!

New Music Tuesday: Yuck, Le Sara, Bright Eyes, The Dears, Dom, Twilight Singers, Andrew Jackson Jihad, Beans

New Bright Eyes Song

Even though Mr. Oberst is one of the weirdos boycotting our admittedly fucked up State I still like his music... sue me! Well he has a new album coming out next year and you can get a song for free by jumping through the hoops that start somewhere in that widget below. OR you can just click HERE and listen to it on P4K... that is what I did. Who has the time to deal with hoops during the holidays?

New Music Tuesday: She & Him, Bonnie "Prince" Billy, Bright Eyes, Let's Wrestle, Yukon Blonde

I guess that She & Him Vol 2 is the big release this week but I am honestly kind of sick of hearing Zooey's voice. She sings every goddamn thing EXACTLY the same no matter what the song sounds like. The singing on that fucking Cotton commercial sounds exactly like every song on both of their albums... WTF? Does she have a good voice? Sure she does. Does she seem a little slow? Sure she does. I bet Ben Gibbard just asked her if she like his "hairy knee" and she said yes and before he knew it they were married.

My two picks for the week are the Bonnie "Prince" Billie colab with The Cairo Gang and Let's Wrestle. I am sure there are some other gems in there like Drink Up Buttercup and Yukon Blonde so let's get to digging and see whats good... If you already know of something that kicks ass on this list, leave a comment and if you think I am way off on She & Him leave a comment but also go F yourself... just kidding, don't leave a comment... just kidding  DO! (maybe)

Full list after the break...
