The Flaming Lips & Bon Iver "Ashes In The Air"

If you don't have anything weirder to do today (and you certainly probably don't) then to watch this video, then go ahead and watch this video... or don't.

I don't even know what is going on and with I could move to a place in time where I didn't know this existed. OR I really like it, I don't know, check back in a week or so when I get off the steady diet of DayQuil that I have been on for 3 days.

The Flaming Lips Do Black Cab Sessions

The Black Cab Sessions are the best sessions. Did you know that the black cab drivers in London have to study for years to get their license? They have to know literally EVERY street in London and be able to know how to get anywhere, they have to pass a test called "The Knowledge". Seems a little stupid with GPS et cetera, but what do you expect from a city where the clock towers are still analog?

Video: The Flaming Lips "The Sparrow Looks Up at the Machine" (I Guess NSFW)

After all of these years I still have no idea what the fuck is up with The Flaming Lips, but I like it! I have always said "Gotta put the blood painting in the vag ball" and other smart stuff like that when people ask me if I want fries with that or other important things.

Video: The Flaming Lips "Watching the Planets" on Conan

You would think that Wayne would have changed his whole "suit with no tie" look by now. New album's should come with a new look right? I guess I just like change...Obama did it to me.

New Music Tuesday: The Flaming Lips, Thao, Neon Indian, Andrew Jackson Jihad

Obviously the big huge release this week is Embryonic via The Flaming Lips, and it deserves to be because it is fucking awesome and great...but there are also some other really good albums coming out today. And it is kinda nice that there isn't a shit ton as many coming out this week as there has been for the last month or so... so why don't you just go ahead and buy them all then? Don't be a loser, your hard drive can take it.

The Flaming Lips - Embryonic
Thao - Know Better Learn Faster
Andrew Jackson Jihad - Can't Maintain
Fanfarlo - Reservoir
Imaad Wasif - The Voidist
Neon Indian - Psychic Chasms
MV&EE - Barn Nova
