Best of 2010...So Far (Part 3) Psyko Steve Edition

Seeing our "best of the year... so far" lists gave our good friend Steve Chilton (AKA Psyko Steve) such strong urning for list creation, it could only be quenched by making his own list. So without further ado, Steve's list...

I change what records I am into almost daily. The top half of the list has lived in the CD player in my car since they came out. These are all at the top for sure but putting a number on it is a bit arbitrary and I am sure I will dislike this order tomorrow. I also want to make a honorable mention of Miniature Tigers new album Fortress but since it is not officially out yet and I have only heard a promo I thought it should not make the cut, but it would be near the top if it could.

So far The Morning Benders Big Echo is the one album that is making it's way onto all of our lists, that must mean it's REALLY good, and it is. Check out Steve's entire list along with mostly hand picked videos after the break...

Rocky Votolato @ The Rhythm Room 3-8-2010

This is not so much a review as it is a post of photos. My partner in mediocrity (just kidding we are awesome! Wanna fight?) Mike already took care of the review via New Times HERE.

Two things though... Bears of Manitou were pretty fucking great, especially for their first show ever, keep an eye out for them fo sho AND... WTF is up with it being 45 degrees outside The Rhythm Room and 95 degrees inside? Weird… Gonna shut up now, I don't want to sound more like an old lady than I already do so without further ado… pictures.

Tonight In Phoenix: Rocky Votolato @ The Rhythm Room

I am pretty excited about tonight's Rocky Votolata show at The Rhythm Room. Going to be nice to just chill out on a cold rainy day... and listen to good music. I am pretty much ALWAYS chilling out on cold rainy days lately but usually at my house watching re runs of Simon and Simon so this will be a nice change of pace for me.

Watch this video for "Montana" from his show two days ago in California. The guy trying to sing along but keeps messing up, it's kinda awesome. Hopefully our drunk fans will do a better job tonight. Bears of Manitou are supporting. Tickets are $14 and can be had HERE
