Crystal Antlers New Album with Tour | Bands Not Coming to Phoenix

Hey guess who has a new album coming out and is also going on a big tour that isn't make a Phoenix stop? If you guessed Crystal Antlers then you are a liar because you just read it in the post title...jerk. But it's true, they have a new album coming out on CD, MP3 and vinyl due April 7th (already available on iTunes as of 3/3/2009)

They also just announced a tour that starts out with 6 performances at SXSW then head to Tucson but NOT phoenix!!! I mean seriously it's easier for them to get to Phoenix than it is for me to get to Tucson, they prob have a nice van with a mini fridge in it or something. I know I am probably a little late to the game with this one but I just heard Jessica Lea Mayfield on Sirius XMU for the first time today and she is really fucking good so I don't care that her album came out last September (the day after my birthday so I was probably hung over) I am going to write about it anyway.
