Dr. Dog Announce New Album and Tour... Drive Right On By Phoenix

So guess what? As you may have already surmised by reading the title of this post, Dr. Dog have a new album coming out on April 6th called Shame, Shame that will probably be great. They are also going to go on a world wide 10 week tour to exciting metropolises like Bloomington, IN and Boise, ID but are driving right on by good old Phoenix! Well to be fair according to Google Maps they are driving through Flagstaff on the way to Santa Fe after playing in L.A. but.....I am going to use my excellent detective skills for a moment. They play in LA on April 27th then Sante Fe on April 29th. So that leaves the 28th open for Phoenix. The Rhythm Room is booked that day but The Clubhouse is open. The email I got said "more dates to come" so I am going to predict Dr. Dog at The Clubhouse on April 28th. But don't hold your breath since I am mostly always wrong about this shit. Headlights Annonce Tour | Not to AZ (tour dates)

Hey guess what? One really good group of music players started a tour a couple days ago. I am a little late on the news here but that is because I have a life OK? I am not going to be at your beck and call every 5 seconds...I just don't have the stamina for that crap, oh and they are not coming to Phoenix so I don't care ;-) I also heard through the grapevine that the finishing touches are being applied to Headlights as of yet untitled new album slated for a Fall release on Polyvinyl. Crystal Antlers New Album with Tour | Bands Not Coming to Phoenix

Hey guess who has a new album coming out and is also going on a big tour that isn't make a Phoenix stop? If you guessed Crystal Antlers then you are a liar because you just read it in the post title...jerk. But it's true, they have a new album coming out on CD, MP3 and vinyl due April 7th (already available on iTunes as of 3/3/2009)

They also just announced a tour that starts out with 6 performances at SXSW then head to Tucson but NOT phoenix!!! I mean seriously it's easier for them to get to Phoenix than it is for me to get to Tucson, they prob have a nice van with a mini fridge in it or something.
