The Joy Formidable Coming to Phx (Rhythm Room) 4/19

Not sure if anybody knew this already. And it has been known to happen that I post something that is totally common knowledge but The Joy Formidable are coming to town on April 19th, they are playing The Rhythm Room. So that should be fun. No word on tickets yet... I will keep you posted... maybe.

After a couple of not so good weeks we are getting a pretty solid one this time around. Top of my list if Broken Social Scene's Forgiveness Rock Record and Josh Ritter's So Runs the World Away, but one must not forget Fly Lo's Cosmogramma The Joy Formidable's Balloon Called Moaning or Woods At Echo Lake. You might WANT to forget about The Hold Steady and Minus The Bear though... um, pretty meh as far as I am concerned, and that is why I make the big bucks yall!
