I have been a fan of The Watson Twins for as long as most everybody else has... Since their album with Jenny Lewis Rabbit Fur Coat way back in 2005. I also love Jenny Lewis, but I don't think anything the three of them have done apart since has been nearly as good as Rabbit Fur Coat. They should really get back together and record another album. Seriously! The Watson Twins have just released a new single from their upcoming covers EP Night Covers. It's good, I like it a lot, but it just isn't as good as Rabbit Fur Coat. I guess I should just get over it and move on with my life. I won't though.

I am happy to report to you that today is "NEW MUSIC TUESDAY" and that means you can legally purchase and download the albums that you have already illegally downloaded weeks ago. My Picks this week are Yeasayer's Odd Blood (Amazons Deal of the Day only $4), Hot Chip's One Life Stand, Phantograms Eyelid Movies and The Watson Twins' Talking to You, Talking to Me. There is obviously way more good stuff out this week but these are the ones I have listened to so far and can confidentially recommend.
