Especially directing music videos. And boy can Ray Wise ride the heck out of a horse and lip sync the crap out of a Beach House song!

Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! Season Cinco Trailer

Here at The 'Stache we try not to go off topic too often. Sometimes though I just can't help it. Case in point, this trailer for the fifth season of Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! If you're not familiar with Tim & Eric and you watch the above clip you'll probably think that that is the most ridiculous thing you've ever seen. Which is exactly the point and what makes it so funny. But I highly recommend checking these guys out if you haven't already. Personally, I can not wait until the 28th for the new season to start.

I would want to step into the mind of Eric Wareheim just to see what the fuck is going on in there but I am afraid I would like it to much and never want to leave. But really what the fuck IS going on in there? I try to keep up to date on all of my Tim and Eric news but Eric directed a video for THE Depeche Modem, that came out a couple of months ago, check it out after the break.

Update:  So, yeah, we're kinda dumb.  Turns out that Tim Heidecker didn't actually direct this video as we had originally thought.  Matt Wells is actually the director of the above video.  Brilliant job Matt, well done! 

Our love of Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim of Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! has been well documented. These guys can do no wrong in our books. Eric Wareheim has taken the Tim & Eric style comedy and translated it very nicely into music videos for several big name bands. Now, Tim Heidecker has thrown his hat into the video directing arena by directing this video for the band Clues.

The video, for the song "You Have My Eyes Now, is from the Montreal bands latest self-titled album out now on Constellation.

So the Electric Mustache crew all went down to Tempe last night to see the Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Great Job tour at Marquee Theater. Holy shit was it awesome. I had wanted to post some pics from the show, you know, all professional like, but nobody brought a camera. Well, other than my iPhone, but those pics didn't turn out so great. So, instead, please accept this artist recreation of the show from last night.
